David is skilled at understanding the complications that come with success.  He has advised some of the wealthiest families and accomplished businesses in the country in the areas of legacy planning and executive benefits. 

Keeping current on industry trends and changing products allows David to design plans meant to keep his clients at the pinnacle of efficient wealth planning strategies. David creates a clear vision for Gateway, empowering the Executive team and employees to build an effective organization. 

Beyond his professional achievements, David is deeply committed to community service and philanthropy. He actively engages with various organizations, focusing notably on workforce development and education initiatives. His leadership roles include serving as Chairman of Partner4Work and contributing to the boards of influential organizations such as Robert Morris University, United Way, the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, BEAM Collaborative, Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, and the SneeReinhardt Charitable Foundation, among others. 

David is also involved as a board member with Highmark Health/Highmark, Inc./Allegheny Health Network, and FNB Corporation.

David’s dedication to community betterment has garnered him recognition through prestigious awards like the Jewish Nation Fund Tree of Life Award, American Ireland Fund Chairman’s Award, and the Fred Thieman Mentoring Partnership of Southwestern PA Award.
