Jill joined the Gateway Financial team in 1998, bringing nearly 20 years of prior experience in underwriting and client service at a major life insurance carrier. As Gateway’s Director of Underwriting, Jill is an essential member of the team, playing a critical strategic role in securing the most favorable underwriting terms for the firm’s clients.

Jill’s exceptional negotiation abilities enable her to effectively advocate for clients, even in the most complex or challenging situations. She leverages her comprehensive understanding of underwriting guidelines, risk factors, and carrier appetites to consistently secure the most competitive possible offers from insurance providers.

Jill’s calculated approach to navigating the insurance marketplace is particularly valuable when large cases approach industry capacity thresholds. Her methodologies enable Gateway to maximize coverage at the lowest possible cost, while avoiding the pitfalls of “reinsurance gridlock.” Throughout each engagement, Jill coordinates the completion and submission of all required paperwork to insurance carriers. 

A Pittsburgh native, Jill resides in Collier Twp. with Bill, her husband of 48 years. Jill enjoys spending time with her family.
